Trans Netherlands kayak trip 2000Belgium to AmsterdamThis 265 km trip was held from May 27 until June 3, 2000The Netherlands are flat and there are thousands of miles of flat water. It's the delta of the river Rhine and the river Maas. This allows us to cross the entire country from any given point to any other point. It just means paddling and dragging the boats over the Dutch dikes. This is the second time we did this trip. (The real reason we did this trip is that we all wanted to lose some weight)
The red dots indicate the route we took.
